Edit 1 Video Productions can transfer your 8mm film to DVD.
Utilising a purpose built Aerial Image Telecine Projection System with an enlarged gate, the picture image is captured right off the emulsion of the film via a 12.5cm condenser lens. This system of aerial image telecine projection offers superior, flicker free, crystal clear transfers of film.

In addition, our projection system uses a low heat, fully diffused light source that offers uniform lighting from corner to corner thus eliminating the all too common centre hot spot of the projected movie for a clean and clear image. Furthermore, the low heat eliminates accidental burning of your film.
Our enlarged gate, Aerial Image Telecine Projection System allows the capturing of the entire movie picture frame as opposed to the conventional movie film projectors that have their gate crop off as much as 30% of the film image around the periphery, thus losing potentially vital information.
The second link in the film transfer chain is utilising the very best camera to capture the movie frames. Edit 1 Video Productions use one of our high-end broadcast quality cameras for this purpose. Using 3CCD 2/3 inch Sony camera with Fujinon broadcast lens that captures the red, green and blue primary light source from your film, results in rich & vibrant colours and superb picture quality.
The film is captured directly into our specially equipped computer, edited and chapter marked if required, then digitally encoded and authored to DVD.
